My first meeting with Tom was so positive and productive; I hired him to

run my medical surgery center.

I was looking for someone with business

sense; build a Business Plan, build a Sales & Marketing Plan, put together
an HR manual, learn and understand the state and federal rules / laws guiding
a Ambulatory Surgery Center, how to control inventory, work with the DEA,
FDA, OSHA, negotiate vendor contracts, build and follow a P&L, construct a
balance sheet and make sure it balances, develop SOP’s, follow the detail of
medical credentialing, develop doctor contracts, and the many other things to
run a medical practice/business.  Well, Tom had all of this plus a positive
attitude and, besides he had common sense.

Snyder of Berlin is the most recent integrated company into Pinnacle Foods Group which is an American company based in Berlin, Pa and is an important producer of snack foods in the region.
I recommended Tom to our Plant personnel as an expert of the Supply Chain Industry with strong emphasis on manufacturing and SWOT Analysis. Snyder of Berlin hired Tom for his background and expertise in Manufacturing, Cost of Goods Sold, Lean Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Six Sigma, Lean Supply Chain, SWOT Analysis and his 140 point audit of all company facilities, processes and procedures.
Tom spent a week at our Berlin Facility, finishing the week of investigation and analysis with an exit meeting to several of the local and corporate Snyder/Pinnacle key staff.   His SWOT analysis produced 33 priorities that required attention; one of most single importance; five second tier priorities and two ROI priorities.
The final report not only went to the local Berlin, PA plant / operation staff but to several corporate Pinnacle staff for their evaluation. Tom’s report was very well received as it was easy to follow/read and laid out in a format that everyone understood. Tom further completed the initial assignment and came in on budget; the assignment incorporated and end-to-end supply chain assessment of operations and process flow
